Dulcolax is a gastro-resistant tablet containing 5mg bisacodyl, designed to provide overnight constipation relief. Each pack contains 40 coated tablets that offer dependable and effective relief within 6-12 hours of taking the medication. The gastro-resistant coating ensures the active ingredient bisacodyl is released in the right part of the bowel for optimal effectiveness. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water, preferably before bedtime for overnight relief. Do not crush, chew or break the tablets as this will damage the special coating.
