This medicine suppresses activities of a substance which causes allergy (histamine) to improve allergy and allergic symptoms (sneezing, running nose, stuffed nose, eczema, itch, etc.). It is usually used to treat hives, eczema/dermatitis, prurigo, dermal pruritus and allergic rhinitis.
