Evra Transdermal Patches are hormonal contraceptive patches containing norelgestromin and ethinylestradiol. Each package includes 3 patches that deliver controlled doses of hormones through the skin over a 7-day period. The patches are designed for convenient, once-weekly application. This is a prescription-only medication that must be used under medical supervision. Each patch releases specific amounts of norelgestromin (203 mcg/24 hours) and ethinylestradiol (34 mcg/24 hours) through transdermal delivery. The patches are thin, beige-colored squares that adhere to the skin.
