The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA is a gentle exfoliating solution that combines mandelic acid, a larger molecular weight AHA, with hyaluronic acid for enhanced hydration. This formulation provides mild exfoliation suitable for sensitive skin while helping to improve skin texture and radiance. Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds. Due to its larger molecular size, it penetrates the skin more slowly than other AHAs, making it gentler and less likely to cause irritation. The addition of hyaluronic acid (HA) helps maintain skin hydration during the exfoliation process. This product should be applied once daily, preferably in the evening, and sunscreen should be used during daytime hours as AHAs can increase sun sensitivity.
